Workshop services*

Standard rates - $65 per ½ hour
Priority/Express Service - Up Front Fee Charge - $65.00 surcharge
Data Recovery - Up Front Fee Charge - $65.00 charge (min)

(Customers will be contacted if up-front fee is exceeded)
Minimum charge for any work performed, including quotations and no fault situation is 30 minutes labour.

Mac repairs*

$130.00 charge (min)
(Customer will be contacted if service charges exceed $130.00)

Remote / Phone Support

Standard Rates - $65.00 per ½ hr

Credit Card details must be taken prior to commencement of remote support.
NOTE: Customer must have working internet and email, to use this service.

On Site Services

Standard Rates - $145.00 1st hr
Additional Time - $65.00 per ½ hr
Priority Onsite Service within 2hrs - $65.00 surcharge
Server Rates - $170.00 1st hr
Additional Time - $80.00 per ½ hr
(Travel time will incur from 15km radius from CBD)

After Hours Rates

Monday to Friday 18:00 – 23:00 $215.00 for first hour then $95.00 per half hour
23:00 – 06:30 $290.00 for first hour then $130.00 per half hour
06:30 – 08:30 $215.00 for first hour then $95.00 per half hour
Saturday 08:30 – 17:00 normal charges apply as shop is open.
17:00 – 21:00 $215.00 for first hour then $95.00 per half hour
21:00 – 8:30 $290.00 for first hour then $130.00 per half hour
Sunday 08:30 – 14:00 $215.00 for first hour then $95.00 per half hour
14:00 – 06:30 $290.00 for the first hour then $130.00 per half hour
Public holidays 23:00 – All day $360.00 for first hour then $165.00 per half hour

Dr+PC is the authorized Seagate Data Recovery Service Provider across Australia and New Zealand.

Data Recovery is the process of obtaining usable data from inaccessible storage media and corrupted or deleted file sets.

There are 2 types of data failure:
The media has not been physically damaged. A file may have been deleted, reformatted or contaminated with a virus. Generally, in these situations, data is easier to recover as long as the data has not been overwritten by subsequent usage.

PHYSICAL: The media has been damaged or experienced a mechanical/electronic failure. Fire or water damage can result in a physical failure or, in the case of a disk drive, part of the mechanism such as a spindle or head may have failed.

Seagate Recovery Services performs data recovery from:

  • Hard Disc Drives (all brands & interfaces)
  • SSD and Flash Media
  • USB/Firewire Drives
  • Tape Storage (LTO, DLT, AIT, DAT, Travan)
  • RAID (0, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, etc.)
  • Servers & Virtual Machines (VMware, MS Hyper-V)

How the Recovery Process Works:

  • Drop off the media to any of our service centres and complete the service form.
  • If we can’t recover the data at our center, we securely ship the media to our closest lab.
  • We track the progress of your recovery case. Call us anytime for updates.
  • We email you the recovered directory and file list for confirmation.
  • A new USB hard drive with your recovered data is ready for collection at the center 4-6 business days after confirmation.
  • If there’s no data recovered, there’s no recovery charge.
